FOSE RECEPTION 2019 ROUND UP
On Sunday 8th September Bianca Nesiu-Bedreag was able to present Emma Parker as the 1000th Friend of Scouting in Europe at the 95th Gilwell Reunion and 100th year of Gilwell.
At the FOSE reception, we were pleased to present Craig Murray, from the Boys Scouts of America and David McKee their European Scout Foundation Lifetime Friends certificate. Also the European Scout Foundation certificates to Mark Charlton, Robin Giles, Matthew Lightfoot, Craig McKee, Chris Meadows and
Allan Page.
There was an opportunity for Bianca to talk about the projects supported by European Scout Foundation. Derek Pollard, on behalf of the World Scout Foundation presented the BP Fellow Insignia to Marcos and Maria Pessoa, from Brazil.
Throughout the weekend FOSE had an information base in the International Departure Lounge, where we were able to spread the word about FOSE and welcome not only existing friends from the UK but also many others from countries around Europe.
A massive thank you to Bianca, Lars, David, Anne, Steve and all the others who assisted over the weekend.
